Colombo is the hub of commerce and administration of Sri Lanka. Colombo was a fort city during the times of occupation by successive European powers and architecture of buildings is a blend of the past influences. Highlight places of visit include the Colombo Museum, the Independence Square, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Town Hall and Parliament.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was started in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants. The sanctuary covers 25 acres of lush vegetation with an approximate population of about 77 consisting of both adult and baby elephants. The best time to visit is the feeding time and the bathing time; when all the elephants are taken to the river close by.

Kandy the laidback capital of the hill country, and the historical bastion of Buddhist power, is built around a peaceful lake and set in a picturesque bowl of hills. Today it is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts and Culture.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess's hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession.

Royal Botanical Gardens – Peradeniya 147 acres in extent; Started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Kandy. There are more than 5000 species of trees and plants. Some rare and endemics as well as flora from the tropical World. Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with tourists.

Nuwara Eliya - The "Little England" of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. The Victoria Park, in the middle of town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic. Seasons may be absent elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but here you can read them by flowers, which bloom in the spring and the fall.

Bentota - On the South coast of Sri Lanka lies the city of Bentota. The general area of Bentota is interesting for birds. On the shore Sea birds and Wanders are often found. Many interesting sightseeing tours are possible from here, such as the Turtle Hatchery, Mask factory, Galle Fort, Mini Zoo, Garden brief, Boat trips on Bentota River etc

Beruwela - Beruwela is a famous Beach Resort with large number of Hotels, providing star class facilities. The Beach is safe and nice as a coral reef break the waves. Beruwela is famous for water sports in the sea and the Bentota river.
